Who We Are

My name is Stacey Ellis and I am the founder and creator of City Sitters.

City Sitters was created due to a gap in the market for reliable and trustworthy babysitters. Being a sitter myself I came to understand from parents, residents and tourists that recommendations are far more valuable than the time taken to individually find, interview and reference check sitters from other online sources.

I have been lucky enough to build up a strong rapport with many families over the years, as a responsible, qualified and reliable service provider. My agency today represents just that; with careful research and a thorough application process. I have designed a system to ensure all the sitters have the relevant experience, come with valid references and have a true passion to work with kids.
